About me

Hello, my name is Karen Webster.

My love of language began in childhood. I have always been captivated by the rhythm of words, the power of a well-constructed sentence, and the importance of clear, effective communication. That early fascination grew into a lifelong passion, which now fuels my work as a proofreader and copy editor.

I have studied with the College of Media and Publishing and I have worked in the education sector for more than twenty years, where I have helped students of all ages express their ideas clearly and effectively. Whether it’s refining tone, correcting grammar, or ensuring consistency, I approach each project with precision and care.

Beyond the written word, I’m a passionate board gamer. I enjoy the strategy of a tabletop skirmish and the storytelling of larger campaign-based games. I also enjoy expressing creativity through music, playing both the violin and saxophone, and through jewellery making, where I craft handmade pieces using seed beads.
